I started my business in 1997 when I moved to California. Back then it was EMC Mailings and I sold Asian-themed and leopard print wrapping paper from a company that was going out of business. Well during the internet bubble many companies were going out of business, and for some strange reason, I was still selling my wrapping paper. Well, eventually the paper ran out and I found another company going out of business, selling G- rate manga comic books. Thus history was born. I was told by a friend that since my heart was always in Asia and I understood the culture I should be true to myself and to others. I changed the business name in 199 and began selling on eBay and other platforms until I was brave enough to start selling on my own personal website.
